NEWBURGH
Built around 1914, this humble Foursquare has gorgeous, unobstructed views of the Hudson River and Newburgh-Beacon Bridge.
A project close to our hearts, this was the first house we ever purchased. We found it at the beginning of 2020 just before the pandemic changed everything. Previous owners had regrettably removed many of its wonderful details, like a front porch, fireplace, interior french doors and stained glass. We removed layers of vinyl flooring and old carpeting to restore the beautiful original hardwood floors. The kitchen and bathrooms were thoughtfully updated to feel appropriate for the home’s vintage character, and finally it was painted in a calming palette and furnished in a mix of modern and antique decor. The results created a warm and serene experience that enhances the incredible views.
