Our project in Delhi started in the spring of 2022 and is extra special for us because we decided to move in while we did the work. Tim took a leave from the FDNY and we spent the next eight months feeling like we were camping out in this beautiful and spacious old house in the stunning Western Catskills. The house had been carved up into a 3-unit rental and we decided to keep it that way. We slept downstairs while we started on the second floor living space. We uncovered incredible antique wallpaper, gutted the bathroom and kitchen and set up two bedrooms and a living space. But two pleasant surprises occurred before we completed the house: Allison became pregnant and a local couple sent a letter begging to buy the house from us. We sold it to them happy to know they would continue where we left off and love the house as their forever home.
